The weekend runs one day earlier

The 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix is scheduled from Thursday 24 to Saturday 26 September. Practice begins Thursday, qualifying is Friday and the race is Saturday; do not plan around the usual Friday-to-Sunday pattern.

Baku time is UTC+4

Azerbaijan Time remains four hours ahead of UTC in September. The published Formula 1 feed is converted here to local circuit time, but the official event page remains the controlling source.

  • Thursday: FP1 12:30 and FP2 16:00
  • Friday: FP3 12:30 and qualifying 16:00
  • Saturday: race start 15:00
