Privacy notice
What we collect
For chart access and newsletter requests we store your email, optional name, consent version and source, confirmation or download records, subscription state and email delivery status. For seat views and travel reports we store your name, private email, supplied venue and trip metadata, report text, a privacy-preserving hash of the request network address, any sanitized image and moderation history. Contributor emails and network hashes are never published.
Why and for how long
Chart data is used to deliver the requested guide and manage suppression. Newsletter data is used only after double opt-in and is retained until unsubscribe or a valid deletion request; suppression records may remain to prevent further sending. Expired tokens may be removed after 30 days. Rejected contribution images are reviewed for deletion within 30 days; approved material remains while published. Audit and consent records may be retained for legal accountability.
Storage and processors
Images are held in private S3-compatible storage on the application VPS. PostgreSQL stores records. Resend processes email only after the provider is activated. We do not sell personal data.
Your choices
Newsletter confirmation is explicit and each message must include an unsubscribe link. Marketing consent is optional and is not required for chart access. Request access, correction, removal or deletion by emailing privacy@racegridguide.com. A valid legal preservation requirement may limit deletion.
