Current commercial status
Race Grid Guide has not activated affiliate links, paid product placement or sponsored rankings. External product links go directly to official manufacturers, Formula 1 ticketing, the official F1 store, organisers or clearly identified primary guidance. No merchant can buy a position in the current shortlists.
How products are selected
We select product families when they help answer a specific compatibility, safety, authenticity or value question. We favour official specifications and organiser rules, avoid live-price promises, state what must be checked, and do not award numerical scores based on specifications alone.
If affiliate links are activated later
Every affected page will carry a prominent disclosure before the first commercial link. Links will be technically labelled as sponsored, compensation will not change the buyer’s stated price, and editorial order will remain based on the guide’s published decision criteria. Historical copy will not be silently rewritten to imply first-hand testing.
Prices, availability and safety
Merchant prices, regional availability, taxes, warranties and returns can change without notice. Venue rules always override generic race-day advice. Safety guidance is a starting point, not individual medical or professional advice.
Corrections and conflicts
A writer or reviewer must disclose a free sample, travel benefit or other material relationship. We will label it on the affected page. Report an incorrect specification, broken link or undisclosed conflict through the contact page.
Legal activation gate: monetization stays off until partner approvals, disclosure and privacy review, tax/business details, merchant terms and commercial data-licensing permission are complete.
