Parking for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku
Why metro and walking are safer defaults than trying to park beside a closed city-centre street circuit.
Expect central restrictions
The circuit occupies public streets around the waterfront and Old City, so race operations require closures, controlled zones and pedestrian diversions. A normal city-centre parking plan is not reliable during the event.
Use rail for the final approach
The organiser has directed spectators toward 28 May, Sahil and Icherisheher metro stations. The correct choice depends on the current gate map, and walking routes can change when the track is live.
Wait for the 2026 traffic map
Do not rely on an old closure diagram for a hotel transfer, taxi drop-off or accessible route. Recheck the official FAQ, app and spectator guide in event week before using a car.
