Absheron sections line the main straight, with the official storefront distinguishing start/finish, pit and Turn 1 emphasis by section. Formula 1 specifically recommends the area for heavy braking and overtaking into Turn 1.

Old City setting

Icheri Sheher places spectators near the narrow castle section, where precision matters more than a conventional passing zone. Choose it for the distinctive setting and car placement rather than expecting repeated side-by-side moves.
