What to wear to the Madrid Grand Prix
A practical capsule for heat, long walks and changing evening temperatures.
Base outfit
Choose breathable layers, broken-in walking shoes and a secure small bag that complies with the final policy. A cap and sunglasses are more useful than a heavy fashion layer in exposed afternoon seating.
Grandstand variables
Covered seating does not eliminate sun during queues or low-angle light. Pelouse visitors should favour durable footwear and clothing suitable for sitting on an open surface.
Weather layer
Pack a light evening or rain layer only if the near-term forecast supports it. Any poncho must meet the published entry rules; never assume a full-size umbrella will be allowed.
