Madrid Grand Prix first-timer's guide

The six decisions that matter most at a new circuit, from tickets to the trip home.

01

Start with your section

Your numbered section determines the access zone and best transport. North and South are separate inside the circuit, so a route that is good for another fan may be wrong for you.

02

Expect first-edition friction

Build buffers for wayfinding, queues and late operational changes. Download official messages and use staff directions over saved third-party maps.

03

Protect the basics

Wear proven shoes, use hearing protection, manage sun and hydration, and set a meeting point in case mobile service is congested. Book flexible travel where the price difference is reasonable.
