First-timer guide to the Singapore Grand Prix

The essential Sprint-format, zone, immigration, transport and weather decisions for a first Marina Bay visit.

01

Understand the ticket zone

The circuit is a large, fenced city venue rather than one open stadium. Your ticket's zone, gate and days determine where you can go, so download the map and use the matching MRT approach.

02

Check Singapore entry requirements

Visa requirements depend on the travel document. ICA says applicable travellers submit the free SG Arrival Card through official channels within three days, including arrival day; the card is not a visa.

03

Prepare for a Sprint in tropical conditions

There is only one practice session before competitive running. Arrive early, protect hearing, manage heat and hydration, carry compliant rain gear and leave time for late-night MRT crowds.
