COTA security and permitted-item rules control bag size, chairs, containers, cameras and food. Recheck the current event list before every entry day.

Common risk items still need confirmation
Large bags, hard coolers, glass, professional camera gear, drones, weapons and outside alcohol are commonly restricted, but only the 2026 list is authoritative.

Pack for inspection
Use one small organised bag, keep the ticket and medication accessible, and leave anything ambiguous at the hotel or in an approved storage service.
