Race Grid Guide
Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on Île Notre-Dame

Metro-first island plan

Getting to Montréal’s circuit

Plan the whole chain—Yellow line, correct bridge and a patient return—rather than only the station.

Completed 2026 archive: the 22–24 May event and listed prices are past. The organiser says 2027 tickets are not yet on sale. Re-check the official release before buying; reviewed 24 August 2026.

Default: métro

The organiser recommends public transport. Jean-Drapeau station on the Yellow line is near the circuit, then spectators disperse across island bridges and color zones.

Match entrance to ticket

The 2026 visitor guide routed different stands through Cosmos, Concorde and Victoria approaches. Verify the current map before following an old walking line.

Accessible transport

STM adapted taxi or minibus service can reach the circuit. Not every Yellow-line station is step-free, so confirm the full origin-to-island route with STM.

Departure reality

The island funnels a very large crowd back through limited bridges and the métro. Keep a late meal or flexible connection as the fallback and avoid a tight train or flight.

Past-event boundary

Exact bridge controls, opening times and shuttles were 2026 operations. They require a fresh 2027 visitor guide before reuse.
