What you can reasonably expect to see
Turns 18, 19 and 20 before the cars return to the main straight. This is a grandstand-area assessment based on COTA’s current description, not a promise that every row has the same angle.
Who it suits
Final-sector action, Grand Plaza convenience and a lower listed reserved-seat price. The principal compromise is less view of the primary overtaking zones and bleacher-style seating.
Cover, comfort and weather
Upper product is advertised as covered; Lower is not. Even a covered seat does not protect approach walks, security queues or every low-angle sun direction. Prepare for Central Texas heat and rain using the live forecast.
Access and parking
COTA currently suggests Lots C, F or K. Parking is a separate product, routes are controlled during the event, and a nearby lot on the map may not be the best entrance for the ticket.
Strengths
- Covered upper option
- Steps from Grand Plaza
- Three-corner final-sector view advertised
Check before purchase
- Lower is not advertised as covered
- Podium visibility is not confirmed
- Final event fencing and screens can change
