The official FAQ says multiple accessible areas are available and identifies Main and North as particularly suitable. Call 800-YAS (927), +971 2 497 9000 or use the organiser's WhatsApp channel before buying a standard seat.
Companion pricing depends on location
One companion ticket is free when the wheelchair place is booked in a suitable Main or North area. The FAQ says companion tickets at other locations must be purchased.
The stairs-only list is extensive
The organiser lists Abu Dhabi Hill, West, Straight, Marina, South, South Club, North Straight, North Straight Club, The House, Horizon Terrace, Terrace at West, Marina Views, Deck At Two and Deck At Nine as stairs-only. Product-level confirmation remains essential.
Gate and internal mobility transport
The FAQ says West or East Gates provide transport for wheelchair users and mobility-impaired guests, Yas Mall shuttle buses have ramps, and AskYAS points can help with an internal Mobility Impaired Transport Service.
Bring the required mobility device
The organiser advises mobility-impaired guests to bring their own wheelchairs because wheelchairs are not available at the circuit. Confirm device dimensions, transfer method, storage and companion positioning in advance.
Ask for the complete route
Before payment, request the assigned gate, platform, seat, shade, toilet distance, shuttle transfer and exit route in writing. 'Most grandstands accessible' does not override the product-specific stairs-only list.
