Discuss the full journey with accessibility@silverstone.co.uk. Viewing platform and personal-assistance arrangements should be completed through the current application route before buying dependent travel.
Viewing areas
The official access guide says accessible viewing areas must be pre-booked, except Made at Vale and the Mainstage platform after 17:30, which operated first-come, first-served in the reviewed plan.
Blue Badge arrival
Pre-booked Blue Badge drivers followed the purple-star route on their car pass and displayed the badge. Hamilton Straight Gate was identified as the nearest accessible entrance; overflow front-of-car-park terrain could be uneven.
Park & Ride and access shuttles
M40 buses used Abbey Gate and M1 buses used Luffield or Brooklands Gates. External limited-mobility shuttles served Luffield, Woodcote, Copse, Club, Hamilton Straight and Brooklands gate areas.
Mobility equipment and terrain
Advanced Mobility equipment was collected from Car Park 50B. The organiser warned of gravel and recommended four-wheeled scooters or wheelchairs where required.
Post-session movement
Vehicle movements stopped after qualifying, the Sprint and the race, delaying access shuttles. Future maps, platform allocation, hire points and operating hours must be reconfirmed for the relevant year.
