Rail is the planning baseline
Autódromo station on the metropolitan rail network is the normal public-transport anchor for Interlagos. The final event operation can change service patterns, transfers, walking channels and crowd controls, so use the CPTM race-week notice rather than an ordinary-day journey estimate.
The assigned gate controls the walk
The organiser says each sector's access gate is shown in the purchase confirmation email and on the ticket. The circuit perimeter is large; do not navigate to a generic entrance or copy a gate from another sector.
Road controls arrive later
CET, SPTrans and CPTM prepare a special plan each year and publish details closer to the event. Expect road blocks and access restrictions around the circuit. Taxi, rideshare, shuttle and private-vehicle drop-off points must come from that final plan.
One entry per day
The official ticket FAQ says spectators cannot leave and then re-enter with the same used ticket. Carry permitted essentials before scanning in and treat the final prohibited-items list as controlling.
