What the pass provides
COTA describes a three-day Grounds Pass for exploring eligible general-admission viewing areas and the wider entertainment programme. It is not a reserved seat and does not guarantee one specific sightline.
How to use it well
Arrive early for the most popular banks, keep the first session flexible and walk between eligible areas before deciding where to stay for qualifying and the race. The final campus map controls every viewing boundary.
Comfort and weather
Expect grass, slopes, dust or mud, long walks and sustained exposure. Use broken-in shoes, hearing protection, sun protection and a compact rain layer that complies with the final prohibited-items list.
What is not claimed
A previous year's fan recommendation is not enough to promise a current screen angle, fence height or best patch of grass. This guide will add named spot advice only after a final 2026 map or verified first-hand evidence exists.
