Use the final gate, not the nearest pin
Sahil and Icherisheher are useful central planning anchors and 28 May connects the wider network, but the best station depends on the ticket gate and event-day pedestrian corridors.
Metro service
Use Baku Metro's official network and event notices for operating hours, closures and crowd controls. Do not assume that every station entrance or ordinary walking route remains open during track operations.
Walking around the street circuit
The circuit cuts through the seafront and Old City. Security perimeters, bridges and one-way crowd routing can create detours. Download the ticket and final event map before leaving accommodation.
Taxis and private cars
Road closures and access zones make a direct circuit drop-off unreliable. Set a meeting point outside the controlled core and expect the final part on foot; never ask a driver to enter a restricted street.
Airport arrival
The Aeroexpress connects Heydar Aliyev International Airport with central Baku. Treat it as an airport transfer, then use the current city network and final gate route rather than assuming race-day through service.
What remains pending
The organiser's FAQ lists transport, road-closure and pedestrian-control questions, but its current public page does not expose final 2026 answers. The final closure hours, station entrances, bridges, taxi zones and accessible set-down plan must replace this planning layer when released.
